Forex Peace Army on the surface seems like a very reliable source. They aim to name and shame the Forex trading companies that are considered to be scams and they also aim to help people who have been the victims of scams by helping them legally get the money they invested back. Despite their good intentions though, it does seem that the site has some rather fatal flaws which makes the entire site quite questionable in terms of its credibility and trustworthiness.
Forex Peace Army feature reviews about Forex trading companies, with the intention being that good sites are given good reviews and the ones that are considered scams are given bad reviews and people are told to avoid doing business with them at all costs. However, it would seem that their review system is extremely flawed. The reviews that are on the site are user submitted, and the majority of them are not even screened by Forex Peace Army. This means that literally anyone can make a false claim about a company and post it on the site without any form of repercussions. As a result, people can write negative reviews about a trustworthy site and claim that it is a scam when it isn’t. This could have been written by a rival Forex trading company or by someone who is looking to keep profits for themselves. It also means that sites that are scams could write a review for the site claiming that they are legitimate and totally sound when they are not.
Lack of Negative Reviews
In some cases, when people who have used the site have written negative reviews about certain Forex trading companies, their reviews have never shown up on the site. This has resulted in many people questioning if the site is manipulating reviews and what sites are considered to be scams or not. People have also claimed that they have been directed by this site to use Forex trading companies that are scams without them doing any sort of background checks to make sure they are legitimate.
In closing, Forex Peace Army is a site of questionable credibility and it would be wise to avoid it if you’re looking for trustworthy information about which Forex trading sites are looking to scam people out of money.
